All I have to do is log into my Google account and write this blog.
Google stores it and releases it to the world.
- Intuit Quickbooks online is Cloud Computing for Accounting.
- Turbo Tax is Cloud Computing for taxes.
- Carbonite is Cloud Computing for Storage
- Flickr is Cloud Computing for Photos
Simply, Cloud Computing is when the tools and content of
things you create are stored away from your computer and accessible from
any computer you have access to.
Today we are able to do banking online. We don't have to store our cancelled checks or even
our monthly statements. Our banks store it and when we need copies or information we simply log in with our passwords and user id.
Why is Cloud Computing important?
- You can access your information from any computer
- You can update your information from any computer
- If your computer crashes your information is safe
I do all of my banking online
I store all of my canceled checks and statements online.
My business, www.ChicoParty.com
is completely in the cloud. It's hosted at Network Solutions, Sales are done in the cloud, Shipping is done through the UPS and FEDEX cloud. All of my important information is available anytime anywhere and without the fear of running out of storage space.
